The Healing Prayer

www.allposters.comIt was a visit I had long anticipated. My parents had often talked about their friends, Brian and Ruth, who were missionaries in Asia. Through my parents, I learned of the many miracles happening in these parts of the world. Brian told me that he had seen with his own two eyes, every miracle listed in the Bible. It made me think about our situation here in the Western world and how we don't often hear of miracles here.
Was it because we limit God? Are we so busy that we just run to the internet for a quick fix everytime we find ourselves in trouble? God was already preparing my heart for healing. I feel so strongly that he is relevant for us today and that he has not changed from the God of bible times. HE IS REAL, HE IS ALIVE, HE WANTS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE FOR YOU AND ME TODAY!
I know that He can completely heal me. The question is, do I believe that He will and that he can do that for me. Was I or am I also limiting God? NO! My faith is strong! I believe that God wants to heal me and I also believe that he has already started that work in me. Praise God. He made me aware that the brain tumor was just a bump in the road and that He has bigger plans than these circumstances seem to show. Much bigger!
When Brian and Ruth came to my home, we talked for some time and shared God's goodness. At the end of our visit, Brian and Ruth annointed me with oil and we prayed for complete healing. I BELIEVE! It is not by sight, but by faith that we are healed. Praise God!

On Tuesday morning, after Ladies Morning Break at church, Sue from the office came up to check to see how I was doing. I had in earlier conversations already told her that I was believing God for complete healing and had asked her to join me in praising God for this! After conversing for awhile, Sue and I went into a little side office and began to pray. The air in the room was marvelous and I could feel Gods presence. As we lifted our hearts in prayer and thanksgiving and spoke in God's heavenly language, a silence filled the room. Then God spoke through Sue.....
I have a word from the Lord. He says, "I see the burdens on your heart. And I see your heart. Your heart is pure. Your faith in me is strong. The burdens laid on your heart have been placed there by me and they have been heard and ALL will be answered."
These are the burdens that God has placed on my heart:
As Sue and I began to thank and praise God's name, God began to release a prophetic word through me. He said,
"I see my children. You don't believe that I am here and relevant for you today. You hold other idols before me. You seek the answers to your prayers in other gods. You think that other religions and gods are more relevant to you. You think that I am the God of yesterday. But I am standing here, right beside you, waiting to reveal myself to you. But you do not want to listen. I am the way, I am the one you seek. I want to show you that I am real. I want to show myself to you. I am the one you seek. Call on my name, says the Lord your God, and I will reveal myself to you."
What a wonderful God we serve! I am here to tell you that God is real. He has shown himself to me! He has gone ahead and prepared the way, even through this time in my life. I can tell you that I feel a peace deep within that is hard to describe. I also feel Jesus walking beside me, giving me strength. What a wonderful God we serve. Can you see...HE IS ALIVE! TRUST HIM....HE IS THE WAY! THANK YOU GOD FOR HEALING ME! THANK YOU. Jesus loves you too! He wants to make a difference in your life as well. Give him that chance and look to him. He says, "I AM THE WAY..." Maybe you don't know Jesus and would like to learn more about him and the difference he can make in your life.
